This is one from a dive last week in Loch Long. Visibility was quite poor but it is always an interesting dive as there are lots of conger eels at very shallow depths. The one in this photo was at 9m.

I have a soft spot for congers. They're really very docile (if not provoked) and can actually be quite curious and engaging. This one was emerging from his lair under a large boulder to check me out. Crustaceans, be very afraid!
